The legendary Fjordlonga

We have a great surprise for you this year! We are taking our traditional concept of the Fjordlonga to new heights!

We are still going to be dancing in the fjords, and this time on a pedestal - with great music, a fabulous wooden dance-floor, a panoramic view of the archipelago surrounding Bergen, sailing masts, people swimming in the fjord, prosecco flowing easily and the legendary Bergen-style fish soup!

Bergen Embrace 2024 Seis días offers an additional Monday boat trip from Bergen city centre, to enjoy an unforgettable milonga in the spectacular club house of a local sailing club with fabulous views of the fjords.

On the boat, for about an hour, we will enjoy the spectacular views of the coastline surrounding Bergen and explore some of it's most fascinating angles and their history. There is nothing quite like the feeling of being at sea! 

Once we come ashore we will be able to enjoy the beautiful pier and either take a dip in the fresh fjord-water followed by a quick hot shower, or go straight to the venue and sip a glass of prosecco while we get ready for dancing.

Once we are ready, we will have a 6-hour milonga (2 pm - 8 pm), dancing in a hexagonal building with glass walls surrounding the dance-floor offering an unforgettable panoramic view of the western fjords. 

The world famous Bergen-style fish soup (and a vegan option) will be served. There will also be prosecco and snacks - and you can bring whatever you want to drink.

The chartered boat (about 100 passengers) leaves from Bergen centre ("Dreggekaien", at the outer end of old Bryggen) at noon. Half an hour bus trip back to Bergen centre leaves just after the milonga (included in ticket). There are also local buses running regularly, if you need to return earlier.
